It's this bi-yearly test(s) he has to take for his job..
Making sure that people in his profession are kept up to date with all the medical procedures/drugs etc... Talking about lives here and every minute is crucial. People think being a paramedic is easy work. If so, then why is SCDF paying huge bonuses to retain this group of people? Many quit after a short stint on the job. This profession is sure not for the average joe on the street. Anyone can be a lawyer, broker, IT professional, housing agent.. but not everyone can be a paramedic. You need the right aptitude.

But i've no worries at all for Zack :) He is really really good in his work and has excellent medical knowledge. Scoring As and Distinctions in all his tests. Even his colleagues ask him for advice.. yeah they are often too lazy to check the textbook.. haha. And he can give them the answer instantly. I call him 'the walking encyclopedia' :P The last wedding we went, his colleague was raving about how good Zack was. Saying that he had learnt alot from Zack while following him on calls. Zack was embarrassed and changed the topic.. awwww.... :) I, sitting next to him, beamed brightly at my hubby *still beaming now* :)
