our goodies from IKEA arrived yesterday!
so we got these to fix:
~ 4 shelves
~ 1 table

and of these, i've already fixed 1 table and 1 shelf.. all by myself! *proud* c'mon.. applause can? heh.. it was fun and i just love fixing up stuff (mum always say i'm more boy than gal..lol). Zack had to work last night so while he was napping in the afternoon, i did up a table and finished a shelf at night. Wanted to do up another shelf but i was afraid all the hammering (yes i do know how to swing a hammer!) would get me into trouble with the neighbours.. plus the shelf i fixed up was too heavy for me to move so it's just lying in the living room, doesnt leave me with much space to move ard..

so many things to do.. so little time! our home is still far from ready for our Party on the 16th.. Hoping to finish fixing the remaining shelves tonight.. zack is currently fixing one now (so if one collaspe.. u know it's fixed by him.. LOL) Once again, our week is packed:

Mon: Dinner with Adrian and Irene
Tue: JB for dinner!!!!
Wed: zack on day shift - so cant get him to do anything.. hai
Thurs: zack on day shift
Fri: Jo's wedding dinner
Sat: OUR ONLY FREE DAY (dun disturb us!)

so i'd only have a little bit of tonight, wed and thurs to fix up the stuff... meaning clearing our blue-grey room of my stuff, dismantle the bed, move the existing furniture out (u are NOT throwing my pretty white chest ah boy).. to set up our Chillout room. We've been slowly collecting items from Thailand and anything that catches our fancy.. bought some really pretty lamps/tealight holders from Himmah's wife, Farina too.. cant wait to put them up :D

oh.. and i need to buy paint for ceramic tiles.. *note*
