ju loves her meat..

my dinner tonight *beams*

so i had my first vegetarian wedding lunch.
one word: S.U.F.F.E.R.I.N.G.

Now i truly understand why zack is always hoping that we are not on a vegetarian table. A number of his church members are vegetarians so if we get invited to any weddings by church members there is a high chance we will be served the vegetarian menu. Vegetarian food can be nice if creatively done but i simply detest those mock food (gluten in the guise of chicken/fish etc). Doesn't it defeats the whole purpose of abstaining from meat when you have to trick yourself into thinking you are in deed eating meat when what you put inside aint it? If you wanna abstain, then shouldnt you even not THINK about eating it? Eating mock food is simply an oxymoron. And guess what? Everyone at our table were non-vegetarian save for 1 gal. WTH?!!!

anyway.. that was the lousiest wedding lunch i attended. And its not just the food. Oh well.

to make up for the unsatisfying lunch we had, i cooked us hearty rib-eye steaks for dinner last night. haha. I'm so glad zack aint a vegetarian or i'll SO DIE!

I casually commented that Alan didnt do anything for Michelle, like seranade her or something. Zack replied smirkily, "You think every bride is as lucky as you?" Hahaha...! hey, i did something for you as well okay.. so same goes back to you! :P And how many brides will even do something for their groom!

But seriously, the wedding day is the best time to do something for your love. Its THE most memorable day of your lives together and not something you will ever forget. I'm delighted our day was perfect.. to me at least :) Even after 8 months, we still look back at our day with a smile and many laughs :) And after every wedding we attend, we will come home and flip thru our photos and reminisce.. haha.

as Pastor Johnny said... there are 3 keys to a good marriage:
Key #1: God
Key #2: Effective Communication
Key #3: Genuine Love

we have to take heed and learn.
